Hello fellow travelers! As we (Arizona Office of Tourism) continue to look for new and innovative ways to help promote the state to both residents and non-residents. The goal of this Flickr account (the short version, anyway) is to create a place for visitors and residents to share their photos and showcase the beauty of the Grand Canyon state. I don't have to tell you, there is a lot of state out there and it is gorgeous! Unfortunately, a lot of Arizonians don't realize how amazing, and easy to get to, these locations are! In fact, I know a lot of people...people born and raised here...that have never been to the Grand Canyon! Okay, I won't name names. Since we know this group will produce some amazing Arizona images, we are also on the lookout for the best of the best to help promote the state. And yes, if we use one of yours, we will tell you... no worries. In advance, thank you all for the images, I know we are going to get some great ones! Additionally, we would love it (to the best of your ability) if you could also tag your photos with the location and description of the image. Geotagging is also welcome and encouraged! Uploads As with many groups, please stick to the 3 limit rule for uploads. The 3 limit rule means that you are permitted to upload 3 images at a time, then allow for another member to upload his/her images, prior to uploading any additional images. This helps keep the variety in the photoset as wide ranging as the variety in the state! There is no limit to the amount of photos you can upload in a day, however, most groups encourage about 3 per day. Image Content This is a family show, which means that any photos that are inappropriate for the group will be removed, without notice, by the Ranger or Guides.
