If you are into the art of Falconry, tried Falconry or have seen people do Falconry this is the group for you! Please submit as many photos, art etc relating to Falconry to this group. Falconry was a hunting method originally used to capture birds migrating south as a source of food during the winter months such as bustard birds for example. Falcons usually would arrive first 2 or 3 weeks before other migrating birds arrived in which time the handlers had to train and bond with their falcons quick. In nature falcons tended to fly ahead of migrations to capture prey but was quickly picked up by humanity that observed them. To this very day the art of falconry is practiced so show us what you have in that tells a story about Falconry!
