Discover Documentary DocuMantra group is started to be a pool of your documentary photography on Flickr. Every time you click a street shot or a candid travel video, you are documenting history. Every moment, our world, our planet and each one of us are evolving and we will never be the same again. Lets save these for anyone and everyone who enjoys the art of documentary photography. Wikipedia says that Documentary Photography is a type of professional photojournalism, but it may also be an amateur or student pursuit. The photographer attempts to produce truthful, objective, and usually candid photography of a particular subject, most often pictures of people. This pool is a place to find interesing candid documentary shots and stimulating and informative discussions with new enthusiasts. Feel free to invite friends, add pictures and start discussions. Though Im not a pro, currently I am moderating the photos that are added to the pool to keep it focused. In all likelihood your photos will be approved, in rare cases it might not if they appear to be non documentary in nature. I wont say no nudity cause there is no censorship but it would be great if you can add a short description with your photos, especially in sensational ones, it always helps to put things in the photographers perspective.
