Old things are often beautiful, and yet so often old, beautiful things are being painted over, torn down, or replaced with more modern, sterile things. This group is for all of those beautiful, old things which are disappearing from our world: old buildings, wonderful old walls, old mechanical devices like typewriters and parking meters. What we're looking for specifically are things that were beautifully made which are nowadays in dwindling numbers. Capture it before it's gone, and share it with us here. If you can't preserve it physically, preserve it photographically. What we do not mean by "Vanishing Beauty" are sunsets, dying flowers, endangered animals, elderly people, or deteriorating/rusty everyday objects.
