First, and most important: An invitation to add your photos to the group is an invitation to join the group. Please join the group. If the subject interests you, please join, whether you display photos or not. I've a fascination with portals, windows and doors, and gates, perhaps, as seen through other portals, windows, doors, and, perhaps, gates. It's clear that many of us share the fascination, so let's explore it more. The subject is windows, seen through other windows, so, while none of the windows need be the main, or minor, subject of the photo, something of the viewed window(s) should be seen and something of the window(s) through which the view is had, both, whether a frame, a crack, condensation, raindrops, dirt, frost, bars, and no matter how dense the fog, how dark the night, or how aggressive the shrubbery... There are [now quite] a few images that have been placed in the group that don't fit the description, that are great photos of windows, but that don't show windows seen through other windows. Since, in the big picture, these are [relatively] few, and since they do not [greatly] detract from the overall, my [current] tendency is to leave them, [and] not to remove them or ask that they be removed. I mention this only as a reminder of what the group is about, windows, as seen through other windows. If a photograph is totally unrelated to the subject of the group, I will take the liberty of gently liberating it. ... and, on further reflection: while reflections are fine, beautiful and artistic even, and often an important element in these photos, there should still be a window actually seen through another window, in addition to any reflection. I should add that this doesn't reflect an issue with regard to [very m]any photos that have been placed in the group, so far, but merely reflects an excess, of caution mostly, in the interest of clarity... and in addition to any other excesses of which I might be guilty... and [for] which I take full responsibility...
