Vintage prints, circa 1993, a time in my life when laughs were few and far between. One day I was preparing to do a head shot for a client between classes. I asked tall Rob to hold up the black velvet and Troy to stand in front of it - out on the picture patio - so I could fiddle with my camera before the client got there. Then I noticed that Rob was goofing off over the top of the velvet and Troy was standing there smiling at the camera like he was really getting his picture taken. I laughed out loud and shot it. I laughed again when I developed the negatives, another laugh when I saw the contact sheet emerge in the developer, again when I printed it and laughed and laughed as I painted it. I'm all for anything that makes me laugh so I kept taking these pictures til the laughter stopped. Here are some of my favorites.
