Die Goldene Stadt Prag im Zentrum Tschechiens ist seit der Samtenen Revolution von 1989 eines der meistbesuchten Reiseziele Europas. Wie in keiner anderen Metropole des ehemaligen Ostblocks hat man in Prag, tschechisch Praha, den Weg zurück in die Zukunft gefunden. Die Hauptgebiete mit den Sehenswürdigkeiten von Prag werden durch die Moldau getrennt. Am linken Ufer liegen die Prager Burg und die Kleinseite. Am rechten Ufer findet sich die Altstadt, das jüdische Viertel und die Neustadt.
