Pictures from the Mos Def and MF Doom MOSDOOM concert at The Congress Theater in Chicago.
It didn't go so well. BBU was terrible. Qwel had some technical difficulties, but gave a very decent performance. Mike Relm who followed gave a very good performance for the first hour or so. He had the majority of the audience on their feet cheering. However, I get the feeling that he was asked to stretch out his performance because Mos Def and MF Doom had not arrived. By the time Mos Def took the stage, the crowd had already thrown a lot of stuff on stage in anger. His set lasted maybe 45 minutes and then MF Doom took the stage. Some people were saying it was a MF Doom imposter (I can't say because I know know his music well enough). They gave a 45-minute performance and walked off stage and the show was over.
