The Celtic Village of Sanfins - Called Citânia de Sanfins - is one of the most important archaeological sites in the Iberian Peninsula of the Castreja Civilization. It's located in the municipality of Paços de Ferreira, oPorto District, Portugal.
Built during the 1st Century BC in the top of a hill,it occupied a very important strategic point near the Douro River. Among it's more than 150 buildings (grouped in 40 Family Nucleus) it presents many interesting element to visit, like the defensive walls, the Public Baths and a recently reconstructed Family Nucleus.
