White-tailed spider - Lampona murina
Juvenile spider, the adult spider is 12-17 mm long and black or dark grey in color.
It is a fast moving and territorial spider. Most common arround the house or wood shed where they feed on other spiders or insects.
There are two white-tail spider species the Lampona cylindrata and L. murina. They look the same but the L. cylindrata is slightly bigger.
