This is another pre-MC Minolta Rokkor lens - the second generation, I believe, retaining the LV numbers but without a stopdown lever. As per the Minolta lens code, it's a seven-element/six-group design; off the top of my head, I can't think of another contemporary seven-element 135mm (although I'm probably just failing to remember the others). The next iteration of this lens was a six-element/five-group design, a configuration that was carried forward into the MC series.
Like many of the early Rokkors I've handled, this lens bears ample evidence of long service: there's brassing and wear, and if you really concentrate, you might detect some slight slackness in the focusing mount. (The glass, thankfully, is perfect.) This is a lens that was well-liked and well-used - and for good reason. It's usably sharp wide-open, and very, very sharp just one click down. Rendering is lovely, as are the transitions from in-focus to out-of-focus areas. And the colors are just beautiful: true and vivid.
The MC and MD Rokkors have plenty of fans, of course, myself included; I've been duly impressed with the lenses from those series. That said, I think the earlier lenses may have that indefinable "something special" that sets them apart.
